Fact one: I’ve had a great day every time Chelsea lost a match.

Weird but this is strangely true. Ever since the 2008-’09 season started, things are great whenever they dropped points. Like getting my license the day after they lost to some lousy team. And passing tests.

So it wasn’t so bad when I woke up to weiqi’s gloating sms (although there was some satisfaction in just pressing the delete button to that msg), cause the first day of attachment was great! The ward was pretty cool, the CI is one of the nicer ones I’ve had so far, and the staffs aren’t that stressed out, hence friendlier and more approachable. Plus there are PRCP students around = alternative resource from the staffs.

And I’m sure there’s a big purpose in the grand cosmic convoluted plan for making me be in the same team with Sam and Quil for first 2 weeks, and just Sam for the last 2. After all, things are pretty optimistic so far. We shall see how things go, and whether my initial silent scream of horror was an overreaction, or a prophecy of whats to come. After all, I can’t keep on wanting Chelsea to lose just to have things go well.

Further updates:

ok it's going to take some time to get use to some procedures. and sadly i have to work on suppressing nausea again. maybe i can sneak a maxalon off the shelfs next time.

things have been ok so far. work mostly with sam. and thats saying a lot since mostly am with the yr 3s. being in b class is pretty cool really. there's actually time to tag along on doctors' round, something that is an extreme luxury reserved for the staff nurses in c class. even then, they barely had time to attend all since doctors, like locusts, come in swarms. and there's only so many places SNs can be at one time.

speaking of doctors, the ones i hoped to see again arent around! *sad* but but but, there is the funny crazy doctor from my obs posting, this super rude doctor, also from obs, and this pretty hot doc. :) hot as in not that cute, but buffed and tan like a dragonboater. so i guess i still have my "nice, cute, and arrogant doctors" again. oh and there's this paramedic.....

enough abt attachment for now. no jinxing! weird dream time! ok not really, but the day after open house ended i had this great dream of soaking in a hot tub with hot water. twas' extremely relaxing that i even felt less achy when i woke up.

pretty cool what kinda dreams can help you along huh? :)

psst! i wanna watch the match on the 28th! anyone free to go with me?
