i like how instead of mutton i got Mr. Pingu this year.
aint he cute? :D
camp was great. it's certainly refreshing to be in a camp where the instructor did not scream at us to make a point. and finally, FINALLY, someone explained the rationale for standardization. my group was pretty ok (we got first place!) and i didnt have to go through too many hi-i'm-nurul routine because i have my dear nadiah and my dear linda with me! of course it would have been better if my dear hasri had stayed in the group but volunteered to change because of some gender inequality among the groups *frowns*
irregardless, the camp certainly set a record for the least number of hour slept. imagine ending an activity at 0330 and still queueing for a bath till 0500. madness. but but but BUT, the trailblazer was indeed the highlight of the camp and i wont trade it for all the hot showers and muscle relaxant in the world. also, for a limited time only, i want to continue running.
did i mention she's not there? *smiles happily*
unfortunately i just realised that i am now a student mentor. which means planning for open house. and freshmen orientation. more council-ish work again.
to quote h, LEH!
