and the river runs red as if blood


when i was small, guns were frightening. they make loud noises, and nothing good ever comes out from having one point at you. now the fear is still around, but also a sense of marvel and wonder as to how a simple mechanical device which pushes off a small piece of metal is able to do so much damage and cause so much pain.

here's to the victims of the virginia tech massacre. your death were senseless but now we hope you rest in peace.
