its too darn depressing. i just watched snippets of this show 'aisyah' in the suria channel and it was enough to make me depressed. my mom watched the whole thing and ended up crying.
basically its abt this girl named aisyah who is deaf and slightly retarded. she lost both parents in a grisly accident, and went in depression. then she heard her fav artist on radio and decided to get his cd only to have her bag stolen by this guy claiming to be a police officer, and then got lost and hungry (i find this very sad..hungry ppl touched me for some reason), got kicked out of several eating places cos she got no money and cant explain things coherently, and to top off the whole shennigan, got raped by this seemingly good samaritan who then unceremoniously dumped her on the roadside when he's done with her.
to quote shafi "thats a series of unfortunate events".
btw, just when you think its safe to turn on the tv, they came up with this:
