- Good Morning/Afternoon ITE College East, can i help you?-

think its safe to say that none of my friends have ever stepped into any ITE (if you have thousand apologies). let me tell you some stuff i've learnt about the campus.

CAMPUS LIFE.
on my first day here, i didnt dare to venture away from the CVC. the whole place was so huge! remember panicking when i was asked to grab some stuff from the management department. now though, i've learnt my way around from exploring and found that the place is way cool!
those who regularly takes the train passing tanah merah would know that this place has a swimming pool. well they also have a very nice tennis court, big stadium, and the most up-to-date facilities in each nook and cranny of this place. their canteen is air-conditioned and have realli nice food (spagetti!! lasagne!! black pepper chicken rice!! cheese prata!! ice-creams!! even jap food!!) plus they have this cafe where you can get stuffs that you'll find in starbucks at much lower price!! realli nice bookshop and co-op which is basically something like a provision shop. plus they also have....77 street in the campus! that is way cool cos all the stuff is 1. cheaper 2. just as nice as those in shopping centres 3. even have a red earth make-up section in it. think thats cool? get this: the co-op and the 77th street are run by the students themselves. for odac members, you'll go green when you see their rope playground. i dont even know such stuffs existed!
makes you wish you've gone to ITE doesnt it? everything here seems to be air-conditioned and when i think of all those sweltering afternoon in MY schools, feel jealous! hmm...oh yeah, tpjcians, rem our sad excuse of an amphitheatre? they have a proper one complete with lights and fountains! lifts at every block and a digital clock at the top of the admin block. mentioned that the place is huge. how huge? lets say if we line the e block and b block in tpjc in one line, it'll only make up the length of ONE of their block. wonder how the students manage if they're late...
the students..urm typical ITE students. but they arent all that bad. as i've learnt. just scary grinz. in their arrogance that is. oh yeah forgot to mention one more thing! they get to mix and match their uniforms! excluding nursing students, the rest can wear whatever uniform colour they want regardless of the course they're in. like how cool is that?? way!

STAFFS.
i've met and worked with lots of people here. those i've never met, i know through the phone. here's the 'core' people!
Jill: she's my supervisor! thought she was rather intimidating when i met her and still do now. but she's nice!can be very impatient. VERY impatient grinz. especially with silly questions and if one of the callers start on her. BUT she always managed to sound understanding and tolerant and for that she has my respect.
Shidah: a colleague! duh. grinz shidah is nice! a lot of interesting pictures and knick-knacks on her desk so when am bored and cant be bothered to surf, i'll stare at them grinz. hmm..she's only 23 btw. wasnt comfortable with her at first but its fine now. hmm..typical girl..oh and she gots an admirer! grinz this boy named zul who always call up to ask for silly stuffs like a map of the campus! stutters when he talk but she's very patient with him..mebbe thats why he has a crush on her!
Nora: has an admirer too! a foreign worker named bala. lolz very funny and i actually got to see what he looks like today! haha..nora is of cos very patient (its a very impt trait to have in cust service), much more approachable. prefer to ask her first when i've problems. hmm..she's dark and wears a tudung and gonna be married later this year. so congrats nora!
Lina: lina's gonna have a baby! well, she's the only chinese colleague i have, the rest are malay and eurasian. like the rest she's nice too. think lina is also in-charge of helping out in big meetings and liasing with private companies. like sitting at her place cos its uncluttered and spacious! grinz oh and there's always smthg to eat with lina, biscuits, durian cream puffs, sweets...and she treats me and von macdonald breakfast today! yay for lina! hope you have a very cute and healthy baby!
Mawar: she's in charge of part time courses so when we got any qsns abt this we run to her! grinz. mawar is very petite..generally nice to talk to and helped a lot too. cos there're lotsa part-time courses qsns that i cant ans!

well, those are the core people but there're also two more whom i've helped through my stint here. by helping them, i've learnt of all the places in the campus and explored the place..they are.....Jaclyn and Fiona! first of all, i'll say that they dont look like they belong in admin job. both dress and act trendy enough to look comfortable in mtv! they're eurasian and realli nice and oh yeah pretty hot. grinz

and of cos my fellow call centre receiver! grinz. had three colleagues. first was fidah and june. then june left and von comes in. then fidah left and now there's only me and von. so i'll juz tell you wat von is like! nice of cos grinz. and tech savvy! thank you for your help with my blog! grinz. she's also into scrapbooking and the stuffs she's done are really pretty! also she always managed to get fantastic bargains on clothings so i wanna go shopping with you one day!

its a pretty long blog already. wondering why i'm describing all these? because today is my last day here. as of now, i've 7 1/2 hours of work left. so dedicate this post to the campus. thank you for everything you've taught, and all the valuable lessons esp on patience..as much as i've bitched abt the callers, i've really enjoyed working here. to all the callers, thank you for forcing me to lengthen my fuse to be more patient. you've drove me nuts but have also entertained me greatly. to my colleagues, THANK YOU so much! will miss you guys. good bye ITE College East. Fly high!

Pioneers blaze a trail to new frontiers.
