i've gotten 2 marriage proposals, 1 admirer, 1 who is sad to look at me because i remind him of his sister, 3 in-depth discussion about my race and my looks, 2 very long lectures on why being a nurse is really hard, got my name changed THRICE, 1 suggestion to quit nursing and start modelling, 4 impromtu karaoke sessions 60 cm away from my eardrums, 4 drooly smiles, 2 crisis interventions, 30 minutes of board games with the most amazing chants to the dice, and one very very very fast repetitive monologue (think michael phelps on steroids)..most impressive? that the pt only took 27 breaths in the 5 min that he 'talked' to us.
all that and it's only the second day.
