i watched smthg really depressing on spongebob squarepants on thursday. it was when the cheery yellow sponge dreamed of flying, built various equipments to help him fly, but was dragged down by the other fishies because they couldnt achieve their dreams. and when he did manage to fly, the other fishies (and Mr. Krabs) still dragged him down by making him accommodate their whims instead of letting him be.

of cos in the end spongebob got to fly by himself but the whole if-we-cant-do-it-neither-can-should-you-and-if-you-still-can-you-must-act-according-to-our-wishes-and-be-our-slave-instead-of-all-happy mentality may be too much for a cartoon. it's depressing. it's disturbing. it's wrong. it's ayn rand's.

in short, it's 'atlas shrugged' for kids.

do you know how sometimes people can annoy you so much that you wish they are dead so you can at least look back on them fondly on the times that they dont annoy you? i'm feeling that way about some people.

i learnt a new wordin class yesterday. not sure how its spelt in alphabets but it's roughly pronounced like such.
