must be nice to be rich..
my cousin's wedding was yest..two days affair, 3000 guests, $20k spent on food alone..do you know what you can get with $20k? a whole hdb flat thats what..
anyhow, i had a very nice time..saw everyone and anyone..since the father of the bride is some retired moe personnel, well, lots of impt guests turned up too..abdullah tarmugi, othman wok, yatiman yusoff..err think thats his name..anyhow, lotsa ppl..saw soph's and taufiq parents too..and of cos..TPJC teachers..sahlan (whom i had to shake hands with), sukhi, mei choo, mrs gay, barnabas, mr tan the maths hod..few more cant recall, and of cos, REYNOLDS. half expected nathan to drop in, with all those vip guests streaming in..
met evryone in my family from the look of it..mind you have a big one..discovered have relatives in interesting places as well as high ones..lotsa teachers, nus lecturer (my grandfather's cousin..wow), some doctors, few or rather lots of civil servants mostly in..cd..like the groom..some cd lieutenant i think..which i think is kinda wasted cos if i'm equipped with an oxford(or is it camridge degree) i wont join any uniformed groups..then again thats me..
yep..totally wiped out yest..thinking of all the rich food i've consumed the past days..muz have gained like ten kg! eclairs, fruit tarts, fruit cocktails, black pepper chicken, mint chicken (which does not taste the least minty), tandoori fried fish which i absolutely love! and the usual malay wedding fare..oh yeah..the most fantastic coffee corner! i think its great! cos of the superb tea! grinz.
yawnz..sleepy..went to council camp yest too..for the dinner..no bbq..had chocolate fondue (chopped fruits covered with nutella)..got serenaded by ameer and this 20th guy which was nice and interesting cos have never gotten that before..they're entering the sch of rock contest so best of luck guys! off to the airport straight after to send fren off..bye dearest! miss you!! all the best!!!! then had apple crumble with jaren and weewee with the hawazi daipi family (aka taufiq's family)..that was urm..interesting? grinz..rather awkward but they were nice and paid for our crumble (yay! thanx!!)..and afterwards got quote jaren pangsei by weewee cos she got a lift home! grinz should have left her there by herself yeah jar? grinz..
nothing like the wedding of your peers to remind you you're getting on with age too..too many numbers on of phonelist is now void..

me: now that they're officially married, does that mean the groom will be staying with the bride tonight?
aunts: (huge uproar!)
me: but they're legally married right?
aunt 1: yes, but must be patient too..wait till finish all the ceremony..dont be so greedy!
aunt 2: true true..but hey its the groom's house what..
aunt 3: but still..he'll be chased away! with a broom!
i dont want to go overseas..dont i?
