i should sue

bio practical was, for once, informative. useful. and potentially life-saving. because...i found out my blood type. my REAL blood type.

so now i'm A+ and NOT AB+ as was stated in my i/c. thank god for my not being in a severe trauma. can you imagine if they did a B+ blood transfusion? *disgust* for the uninitiated, if you're A+ you can only get A or O blood, B+, only B or O, and AB+ means you can get anything. if they transfused you wrongly, you'll die.

so the qsns now are, are my particulars in some big govt computer somewhere and should i do smthg to inform them?

so sue me

i. am. jealous. it's no big deal except for the fact that i really dont have much ground to be jealous. i think i know why, and what exactly i need to rectify that BUT that is going to take a lot of guts, fate, and help from friends. certain friends.

we will see how that develops.

anyhow i am done with my projects and quizzes( why is a quiz with 1 z but 2 quizzes with 2?) and tests, and my next presentation is in 3 weeks time. exams ain't till end of august so i think maybe i should come up with a decent entry on how things are so far. more for me than you.

ok seriously, nursing wasnt what i really expect it to be but it's been ok. the friends are great and lecturers are nice (with some leaving some of us tongue-tied and one as a source of laughter =p). honestly, the course has been easy so far, at least i've been getting decent enough grades. plus my being to learn biology again is a DEFINITE plus. i'm used to labelling subjects by their codes instead of titles, and clinical lab is NOT so scary anymore. ok it stills freak me out sometimes but not so much now that i passed my prac exams (i passed!!! i passed!!). i have learnt lots of things, some majorly cool, some pretty interesting, some just plain gross. and here's the thing. i like it. all of it. even the tedious planning and assessment. of cos now is just theory, and this opinion shall be revised on 5th oct after i end my attachment.

so maybe, MAYBE, i will now let got of the other thoughts and dreams and focus on my new ones. and who knows, i might be really happy with my new ones. so..yep. thats it. not much of an elaboration of my 14 weeks in sch huh?

doesnt matter. now to get some rest, wait for miss andrews to come back from u.s. and just hang out. and wait for baybeats!

it's a good time to be nurul

my love affair with vivian

i'm vaio-fied!

of cos now that i have one, i have no idea what to do with it. and i love to say i'm blogging on vivian (thats my vaio's name..vivian vaio, cool eh? ;)) now but i've left it with my brother to get it internet-ed and antivirus-ed.

i did spent 3 hrs watching grey's anatomy on it first tho..hee

oh yeah, since friday, i've also sold my soul for 39k ++ to ttsh for the next 6 years, passed my practical exam (YAY!!!!!), and became arabic (apparently, anyone who can speak arab is known as an arabic). plus i've losted and founded my ez link card.

oh and being nice is so not glam now apparently.

why i do not believe in 'live earth'

mainly because i fail to see how a bunch of celebrities relates to saving the earth. and how having a 24hr concert spanning across 7 continents have anything to do with conservation. 24 hour. 7 continents.

that is A LOT of electricity wasted.

on lights and sound and generators to keep everything running. plus 24hr live telecast beamed to almost every household in the world is even more waste of power for television set/s, light, air-con/fan etc. kinda defeat the purpose doesnt it?

and why must we have a concert? with celebrities singing songs which have nothing to do with the cause they are participating in. what lesson am i to draw from witnessing pussycat dolls prancing around the stage singing 'don't cha'? that one should wear lesser clothes --> lesser articles to wash --> dont need to use the washing machine that often --> save electricity and water? and what about the sheer noise pollution? shouldnt we reduce that too? how does having punk rockers screaming into microphones going to help the cause at all.

and let's not even go to the whole having the event at a grassy patch thing.

how abt next year, instead of spending oodles of money on this, we use it to plant more trees? plant trees across 7 continents, that'll be nice, not to mention more ecologically friendly. or have a day where everyone has to take public transport. or have ppl return the amount of carbon they used back to the environment.

just dont have any more concert! and stop playing that madonna song over and over and OVER

psst! i dont know if you noticed, but as all these live earth thingy is happening, 103 ppl had died in iraq from car bombing, and a certain neighbouring country has started haze production. again. perhaps we could use the cash from live earth to tackle these matters instead?

it's only wednesday

and it has NOT been a good week.

monday was clinical theory. it was RUBBISH! it is the first test i've EVER sat for which the MCQs killed me. not only killed, decimated. quartered. drawned. chopped up into little pieces. and its absolute crap for the time to complete the test to be equal to the number of marks of the paper. are we seriously expected to think, plan and write (with FULL spellings of terms) all in 1 minute?? if so then perhaps individual qsns should not ask for EIGHT freaking solutions per qsn.

tuesday was 1086 quiz. it. was. crap. oh and i spent 1.5 hr with my fav student. joy.

today i overslept. thank god it's just a grp thing.

i'm highly disgruntled and am NOT looking forward to next week!
