election fever?
not really. PAP's gonna win anyway right? so why bother even following through with the speeches and rallies and articles in the newspapers? but think, what if, this year, PAP actually lost and we get a whole new system in place? wont that be smthg?
not that i'm particularly impressed with any of the opposition parties. much talk but very little beef. like now. my district is under SDA vs PAP but there is little visible opposition effort made here. at least PAP had swarmed the MRT station the other day passing out their manifesto paper and slot it in our letterboxes but nothing from the opposition *ho hum*. like excuse me sirs and ma'ams, if you want us to vote for you, make an effort to at least give us reasons why.
speaking of which, SDP. wow, i wish i can go to their rally and hear what they say (bukit panjang!! thats at the other end of the island!!). hehz especially abt this whole thing abt the nkf issue. or your whole view point for that matter. because flipping through dr. chee's books in kino, i can honestly say i'm not impress and convinced why if i could vote, i should vote for you. *shrugz* and abt this whole civil disobedience thingy..*rolls eyes* its true, i do think it's pretty rude.
have more to say but cant be bothered to type it out cos after all, this is public domain. dont wanna get in trouble now do we? ^-^
on a diff note, i wish this week will end soon cos am gonna meet with me girls! oh and lunch with my manager on tue which i'm not looking forward to just because its lunch with my manager. i'm not good with big people
and where on earth is the rain???

kontemplating kundera
i think if i had to be reincarnated, i'd like to come back as a bubble. why? well, do you remember the first time you blow a bubble? you remember that joy when a small transparent sphere formed by your breath from the soapy wand? remember the cheers of your play mates at the successful birth of this fragile thing? the wonder to see rainbow reflected on the surface?
i think that would be nice. a short but wonderful live. people cheer when you are born, happy for that one brief minute of our life, and even when you die, they're happy (and a little bit sad) because for one brief moment, you brought a little joy in their lives.
yes, i think i would very much like to come back as a bubble.

transamericatransamericatransamericatransamerica!!!!
i love it!!!
i love the story, i love the idea behind it, i love bree and most of all.....i love toby!

find me another actor with this

kind of smile and able to act decently too
mr zegers, you've got yourself a new fan!

oh yeah, regarding my last post, it seems that i'm the only one who thinks that sea urchins are plants and are comparable to cactus but in the sea. actually they are more like underwater porcupines..right?
anyhow if you value your dignity, DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT eat fondue with jaren, wei qi and shafi in public.
ok back to the movie (dad: "again?? you're watching that again??")

five reasons why you SHOULD watch monty python and the holy grail and..tagged..again.
i LOVE monty python and the holy grail!! in fact, am going on a hunt for one myself (a cd, not aa holy grail). and here are the five reasons why YOU should watch it if you havent (tsk what were you thinking??)
1) the knights who said nnnnnih! (my personal favourite scene! although they changed their word and said eckhi-eckhi-smthg which sounds equally hilarious)
2) the black knight who was literally UNARMED AND DEFEATED! *hahaha*
3) the castle of aaaaarrrggghhhh
4) the killer bunny! lolz ("what's it going to do? nibble your bottom off??")
5) and i LOVE the french taunters!!
ok there are more reasons, so go watch it!
also i would like to admit that i have a MASSIVE crush on the lead singer of the callings! yes i know they're good, but when i heard the live version of 'wherever you go', it's like..wow! it wasnt as nice as the proper song but smthg abt the voice..to quote jia'en "soooooooo man!" ! *melts into nurul puddle* hands up anyone who'll wanna watch them in concert if they come over to s'pore *me!!*
and..tagged. again.
1)A song by a Beatle/the Beatles:
i didnt know there's such thing as A beatle..ok ok yellow submarine.
2)A song featuring piano as the main instrument:
2 beds and a coffee machine - savage garden
angel - sarah mclachan
runaway - the corrs unplugged
3)A song with a woman's name in the title:
adrienne - the calling
stacey's mom - smthg fountain..soda fountain?
i know there's mandy, and julia, and maria but have no idea who sand them
3)A song with a man's name in the title:
does jesus in suburbia count? by green day. jesus is a man's name after all
4)A song about money:
here comes the money - the theme song to mr mcmahon's son..shane?
6. A song with weather in the title:
sunshine - gabrielle
keep on thinking of drops of jupiter for this but jupiter is not weather is it?
uh..rain rain go away?
7. A song with parentheses in the title (these are parentheses):
no idea
8. A song made by a punk band:
made as in compose? no idea
9. A song with the word "song" in the title:
this is the song that never ends!
err..err..elmo's song!
10. A song you love so much you stop and listen whenever you hear it:
our lives - the calling
anything by savage garden
anything by the calling
depends on my mood actually
not an ideal person to be tagged for this. i dont pay attention to song titles normally or who sang it. in fact havent listen to the radio in ages! and i'll tag..whoever is bored enough to actually bother doing this kinda stuff (am not bored, just being nice! grinz)..oh i have to list the name? ok, wei qi, aisyah, soo ling, fang ting and diyana. when they have their own blog of cos.
one last thing..WATCH MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL PEOPLE!!!

an agent's day out
yest was..interesting. ok it was fun, had the whole surprise birthday thing (which wasnt really a surprise cos there seems to be lotsa moles around) but it was..great!
let's see..i had my hair spray painted orange, then we had lunch, then we went to a secret destination to ice skate! never had falling down feels fantastic. and i know how to skate! albeit wobbli-y and i've no idea how to brake unless you count crashing into the barrier as braking. AND i had my revenge on shafi (for being the main hair sprayer) by getting him a pair of fluffy pink gloves! ok it wasnt that fluffy but it is pink *haha* then we went to jaren's for transamerica, cake, and junk food! oh and presents!
thankew
-jaren and wei qi for the cute card and the $20 worth of expensive chocolates which are still quite a lot (anyone wanna share?)
-chee wei for the $20 haagen daaz voucher (notice the pattern? it's all in 20s!)
-weewee for the whole planning thing and the nice pampering kit
-sam marcus bunny for the company!
-ooh!! jaren for the cake! he bought 2! and for trying to give away the content of his fridge
-and shafi? well it's really pretty so i wanna show it off..hang on
rummage around for the camera
alrite first of all, it came in a really mysterious box

but when you open, you get...
tada!

aint that the prettiest lil' watch you've ever seen? blue with swar..err swavorski? sawvorski? crystal! yes. pretty shiny crystals. yessirree. except i cant wear it cos it's too pwetty and i'm scared i'll scratched them.
ah well..
psst..next time you wanna splurge, can i have a chocolate fondue fountain? hehz

just for you!
this post is dedicated to JAREN for starting to READ properly and actually buying books, patronizing the library and borrowing from others. and because i highly approve of this activity, its good to encourage him to continue his new found passion *cheers*
hurray for jaren!
quick tip for the others: if you're really bored and wanna watch smthg educational and motivational, scatter some sugar on the ground outside and watch the ants swarm the area (make sure to find a comfy seat with enough place to cross your legs). observe the teamwork and dedication and leadership skills happening in front of you. and if there's someone with you, you can have a mini competition too. cheer for your fav ant grp to drag the largest granule away.
we had fun.
